In the coming week, 17 road construction projects will be in full swing throughout the city. This work is necessary to repair damage and maintain the city's road network. Unfortunately, these measures also lead to traffic obstructions. In total, the city is taking care of around 490 kilometers of road network in Plauen.
New and modified construction measures:
- AlthaselbrunnFrom Monday, 02.09.2024, the second construction phase will begin. The area from house no. 14 to Seumestraße will then be closed to traffic. The one-way street will be closed. The passage to Haselbrunner Straße will also be closed. The 1st construction phase has been completed. The closure is expected to last until 02.10.2024.
- StresemannstrasseStresemannstraße will be closed on Thursday, 05.09.2024, in the area between Forststraße and Bahnhofstraße from 6.00 am to 10.00 am. A crane will be dismantled.
- FriesenwegFrom Wednesday, 04.09.2024, Friesenweg will be closed to traffic in the area between Möschwitzer Straße and Am Preißelpöhl. The main water pipe at house no. 19 will be relocated. The closure is expected to last until 13.09.2024.
- Max-Liebermann-StraßeFrom Wednesday, 04.09.2024, the Max-Liebermann will be closed. The road will be repaired. The closure is expected to last until 01.11.2024.
- Neundorfer Street 91: The thoroughfare between Liebknechtstraße and Ferdinand-Schill-Straße is fully closed here. The closure is expected to last until 30.09.2024.
- Middle roadMittelstraße is fully closed between Am Teich and Oberlosaer Weg. The reason is work on a gas service connection. The closure is expected to last until 06.09.2024.
- Unterlosaer StraßeFrom Monday, 02.09.2024, Unterlosaer Straße will be fully closed between Findeisenstraße and Am Reuthhübel. Work is being carried out on the water service connection. The closure is expected to last until 10.09.2024.
