For the first time, the Malzhaus socio-cultural center is organizing a volunteer exchange in Plauen with the support of the city of Plauen and the Vogtland District Sports Association. Plauen's club landscape reflects the great diversity of civic engagement and voluntary work.
Numerous clubs and institutions have responded to the call. A total of 37 clubs and institutions will take part in the Saturday (September 14) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the gallery in the Malzhaus and in the outdoor area with its own stand.
In addition to numerous associations, advisory institutions are also represented, including the Plauen Job Center, the Consumer Advice Centre, the Dresden Community Foundation with the platform ehrensache.jetzt and the Southwest Saxony Volunteer Academy Parikom. Here, not only visitors but also the associations themselves can obtain advice on funding opportunities or expense allowances, for example.
In addition to two keynote speeches on the topic of volunteering, visitors to the Volunteer Exchange can expect a varied program.
Pupils from the production school in the Vogtland region of the Plauen-Vogtland Vocational Training Association will provide culinary delights for the participants and guests.
All citizens who are looking for a voluntary position or a leisure activity are cordially invited to the Volunteer Exchange. It is the ideal opportunity to talk to Plauen associations and take a look behind the scenes. Whether sport, culture or social commitment - everyone can find their place here and play an active role.
