Many young Plauen residents celebrated the end of the kultursommer on Saturday (September 21) on Theaterplatz and on the small stage of the theater. In addition to sporting activities such as basketball and table tennis, the Young Party also offered creative hands-on stations such as record painting by ARTBEATZ! and graffiti. Cultural performances also took center stage. Various young artists, from singer-songwriters to dance groups, presented themselves on the Open Stage. The audience was also treated to a variety of performances on the small stage of the Vogtlandtheater. The rap band "DIP und Aufstrich" and DJ Louici also ensured a good atmosphere. In total, several hundred visitors of various ages attended the Junge Party.
The end of this year's cultural summer was celebrated in collaboration with the Plauen Zwickau Young Theatre (JUPZ!) and the Municipal Prevention Council. This was made possible by the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Construction's "Sustainable inner cities and centers" programme, with which the city of Plauen is currently receiving targeted funding until 2025 to revitalize the city centre and make it more attractive.
